***PEAK SEASON ALERT: Due to high order volumes and shipping delays with carriers, please account for longer than normal lead times on your deliveries.***
Perishable items that need cold packed during warm times of the year will be noted as perishable or requiring a cold pack. You will be asked whether or not you would like your perishable items to be cold packed. We strongly recommend that you cold-pack perishable products during warm times of the year. Customers that decline their perishable products to be cold packed will be responsible for all damages should the product arrive melted. Please keep in mind that even if it is cool where you are located, your order may travel through an area that is warmer causing the product integrity to be affected.
We cannot control the weather between our facility and yours so even when cold packing products, we cannot guarantee that your product will not melt due to extreme temperatures or extended shipping periods. If you are located in an area farther than two transit days from our location we highly recommend for you to select a 2 day expedited delivery service. This will help to ensure that your goodies arrive unmelted.
All accessories such as inside delivery, appointment notification, lift gate, etc. will be added to customers invoice.
HANDLING CHARGES FOR SMALL PARCEL SHIPMENTS
The handling charge for small parcel shipments (Prepaid, Collect and 3rd Party
shipments) is $5.00 per package with a maximum of $15.00 per delivery location. These charges do not include the actual shipping charge for the
shipment. However, we will continue to pass through the heavily discounted
shipping rates that we have negotiated with our small parcel carriers. The handling charge is
to cover our costs of shipping materials and supplies for packing small parcel
shipments.
